"In this painting I wanted to express the tradtions of who we are and our beliefs. Things that make us Americans. But, we also shouldn't be divided by the basis of Republican or Democrat. Abramham Lincoln is painted in the middle of the composition. The Gettysburg Address beside Mr. Lincoln spoke about the division in America and that we had come to a cross road. It expressed the notion that we had come to a cross road in time; requiring each of us to decide which side of the line we were on.

Here again we have come to a cross road, With the terror attack on the world trade center and the admittance from Al-Queda. You have Osama Bin Laden on his knees to the left just under hime are images of Americans holding written American beliefs. Then, to the right of the painting the ederly man with a beard represents God, and there is an Angel reproting back to God about the current state of events. Newspaper collage represents a Vessel of Truth so popel will know. The Boy in the painting is me. I am setting aside my toy-bike to take in what is happening in the world of mine. " -- E. Morgan
